Too bad Hastings and the others don't appear in the new stories. Sure, I can understand that they don't appear in all of the books, but maybe they can be included a little?
The 'problem' is that early on the producers of the 'Poirot' series insisted on using Japp, Lemon, and Hastings in every single episode. Now we viewers are kind of spoiled, I suppose. I guess there are many Poirot fans out there who don't read the books but just watch the movies, and so they don't understand why those beloved characters don't appear. Do I miss Japp? I sure do! |
