Race
Colonel Race is a British Secret Service agent and travels the world tracking down international criminals. He is tall, has a bronzed face, and distinguishing features. He works for the MI 5 branch of espionage. His adventures have taken him around the world including South Africa and Egypt.
Race appears in two Poirot novels. He was invited as a dinner guest once along with Mrs. Oliver, Superintendent Battle, and Poirot. He helps in the investigations regarding the murder of their dinner host. Another time, he meets Poirot in Egypt while on a mission to capture a dangerous criminal. By the end of his last novel, the Colonel has clearly aged.
