St. Mary Mead
St. Mary Mead is the fictional village where Jane Marple lives. Through the years and novels, the town is shown to have dramatic growth and change. The town is about 25 miles south of London and about 12 miles from the coast. As seen on the map, the town is just 2 miles west of Much Benham. St. Mary Mead resides in the county of Radfordshire where Colonel Melchett is the Chief Constable.
